A refrigerant injection device for an air conditioner is provided to improve workability by automatically separating an injection gun after injecting a refrigerant by forming an injection gun separating unit at a front end of a rotary arm of a rotary unit. A refrigerant injection device for an air conditioner comprises a refrigerant injector(59), an ascending/descending push unit(60), a rotary unit(70), and an injection gun separating unit(80). The ascending/descending push unit, located at a side surface of a rear part of the refrigerant injector, of which two sliding frames(62,63) are vertically slid for a rail frame(61) as a cylinder is operated. The injection gun separating unit, formed at a front end of a rotary arm(71) of the rotary unit, separates an injection gun(57) connected to the front end of a refrigerant hose from a refrigerant injection port forcedly after injecting the refrigerant by operating the cylinder.
