PURPOSE: A tensioning device for a knitting machine is provided to offer convenience by preventing foreign materials from piling up, and to adjust conveniently the tension which is applied to yarns by a disk by adjusting a location of a magnet. CONSTITUTION: A tensioning device for a knitting machine includes a holder main body(2), a central axis(3), a pair of disks(4), an elastic adjusting member(5), a stopper(8), a detector(7), and a detecting spring(6). The holder body has a lower introduction eyelet(2a), an in-between introduction eyelet(2b), and an upper introduction eyelet(2c). The holder main body passes yarns supplied from a yarn supplying reel(1) through the lower, the in-between, and the upper introduction eyelets. The disk is equipped on a vertical frame on the central axis. |
