PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a resin composition that has a significantly reduced amount of unreacted monomers while maintaining a desired molecular weight and that shows extremely preferable adhesive force when the composition is processed into an adhesive sheet, an adhesive obtained by using the composition, and an adhesive sheet using the adhesive.SOLUTION: The production method of a resin composition comprises successively performing the following steps: a first step of polymerizing a monomer (A) comprising at least a (meth)acrylic acid and a (meth)acrylate (A1) and having a double bond to obtain a polymer (B); and then a second step of mixing with a polyfunctional vinyl ether (D) having at least two vinyl ether groups in a solvent comprising alcohol (C) to allow unreacted monomers (A) to react.SELECTED DRAWING: None
