PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a plurality of two-dimensional dose distributions (original images) acquired while varying a combination of an azimuthal angle and tilt angle to be correctly projected on a display coordinate system, and to prevent overestimation or underestimation of radiation dose.SOLUTION: A plurality of original images are coordinate-transformed in accordance with a tilt angle to generate a plurality of projection images 236 that conform to a display coordinate system. In doing so, each projection image is form-processed so as not to create overlaps (or gaps) between adjacent projection images. Specifically, both end sections 236L, 236R of each projection image 236 are removed. The plurality of coordinate-transformed and form-processed projection images are joined together to form a panoramic image. In one embodiment, first coordinate transformation based on interpolation processing and second coordinate transformation executed under the condition of keeping a total radiation dose constant are performed in parallel as coordinate transformation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 |
