PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently increase the durability of a bead part and the anti-drawing characteristic of a carcass ply and further improve the forming efficiency of a carcass ply. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has a bead structure in which radial inner ends of a carcass ply 3 composed of a ply chord 2 extending between a pair of bead segments 1 are held between a pair of bead cores 4 in each of the bead segments 1. Inner ends of the carcass ply 3 protruded from each of the pair of bead cores 4 in a radial inner direction are formed with protrusion members 5 increasing the thickness of the carcass ply 3.
