PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box file with a high strength, which can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: This box file comprises: a first box member 20 wherein a front face plate 14, a bottom face plate 16 and a back face plate 18 are continuously provided; and a second box member 28 which is equipped with first and second side face plates 22 and 24 for being laid between the front face plate and the back face plate, and a connecting piece 26. In the first box member, fold lines 36 and 38 are formed along boundaries among the front face plate, the back face plate and the bottom face plate. In the second box member, the connecting member is equipped with a front connecting piece which is elongated to the front side of the first and second side face plates via the fold line, a backside connecting piece 52 which is elongated to the backside via the fold line, and a bottom-face connecting piece which is elongated to the bottom face side via the fold line. The bottom face connecting piece is fixedly attached to a main face of the bottom face plate of the first box member in a superposed state. The front connecting piece is formed on the side of the front face plate, and the the back face connecting piece is formed on the side of the back face plate, so that the first and second side face plates and the front and back face plates can be fixedly attached by means of a fixing implement 90.
