PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior casing capable of forming a projection for attaching another member on the surface of wood for a short time and capable of being manufactured without producing cut refuse. SOLUTION: In the exterior casing having a main body part 2 and the projection 6 provided to the main body part 2 in protrusion in order to attach another member 8, the main body part 2 and the projection 6 are integrally formed by the compression molding of wood.
