<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet remaining amount detection technique, efficiently preventing trouble due to wiring or a relay connector. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of wireless sensors 314 for detecting pressure are disposed to a bottom plate 311 of a paper feeding tray 131. A control part 150 of an image forming device 100 calculates the remaining amount of paper sheets or a size of the paper sheets housed in a feeding tray 131, based on pressure detected by the wireless sensors 314 and then notifies an user of the remaining amount and the size, so that the user's working efficiency is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
