<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing seasoned ingredient-containing dry soup rice gruel having good appearance, excellent in reconstituting properties so as to be easily reconstituted in a short time only by pouring boiling water. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing seasoned ingredient-containing dry soup rice gruel comprises the following process: putting rice in heated water; continuously heating the rice to make rice gruel; adding water to the rice gruel; seasoning the rice gruel with seasoning/spice or the like; putting ingredients in the seasoned rice gruel to obtain seasoned soup rice gruel; pouring the seasoned soup rice gruel into a prescribed container; and freezing and drying the soup rice gruel after a freezing process.
