PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air battery system that can easily perform switching between discharge and stop of discharge in an air battery, and is advantageous to prevention of liquid junction.SOLUTION: An air battery system includes an air battery 10 comprising an air electrode 13, a metal electrode 15 and a bottom space portion 10S provided below the metal electrode 15, a tank 3 for storing electrolytic solution W of the air battery 10, and a pipe 5 for connecting the bottom space portion 10S of the air battery 10 and the tank 3. At least one of the tank 3 and the air battery 10 is configured to be movable in the up-and-down direction so that the air battery 10 starts discharge when the tank 3 is located above the bottom space portion 10S, and the air battery 10 stops discharge when the tank 3 is located below the bottom space portion 10S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
