PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information code reader configured to prevent unnecessary processing by taking into consideration user's motion.SOLUTION: On the basis of a position of an information code reader 10 detected by an acceleration sensor 47, a plurality of states, including moving state where the information code reader 10 is moving and shooting state where a change in position of the information code reader 10 is smaller than the moving state, are estimated by state estimation processing to be executed by a control circuit 40.
