PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration to suppress dirt on a detection member compared with a case of suppressing dirt on the detection member with an operating member.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (U) comprises: an image holding body (B) that rotates and holds an image on its surface; a detection member (1) that is arranged opposite to the surface of the image holding body (B); and an adhesion suppressing member (3) that is arranged on the upstream side of the detection member (1) with respect to the direction of rotation of the image holding body (B) and arranged opposite to the surface of the image holding body (B), formed in a shape projecting toward the image holding body (B), and suppresses adhesion of a developer to the detection member (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
