PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for illumination which inhibits cracks from occurring in a housing integrally molded with a heat sink, and to provide a luminaire.SOLUTION: An LED bulb 1 according to the invention includes: an LED module 10; a driving circuit 30 for causing the LED module 10 to emit light; a heat sink 40 which is a cylindrical body enclosing the driving circuit 30 and thermally coupled to the LED module 10; and a housing 50 which is a cylindrical body covering the heat sink 40 and is integrally molded with the heat sink 40.
