PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for reproducing commercial data in IP broadcasting receiver is provided to play advertisement data before reproducing broadcasting program data. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(404) reproduces advertisement data and broadcast data offered from the IP broadcasting station server. If the IP broadcasting program is selected, the CPU transmits advertisement data and command with the IP broadcasting station server. Advertisement data comes under to the advertisement type selected through a menu screen. Command demands the electrical transmission of the selected IP broadcasting program data. CPU successively receives and reproduces the advertisement data and IP broadcasting program data from the IP broadcasting station server. |
