摘要 The present invention relates to a gas shock absorber which does not require a force to pull down a door to the end since a reaction force does not differ significantly in spite of a change in stroke and is not deflected even though the door is opened, comprising: a cylinder penetrating from one side to the other side; a piston rod installed inside the cylinder and performing a reciprocating motion; a rod guide unit installed inside the cylinder and guiding the piston rod when the same is performing the reciprocating motion; and a piston unit installed on the piston rod to be positioned inside the cylinder and assisting the piston rod to perform the reciprocating motion smoothly. The gas shock absorber has effects of: assisting the piston rod to be operated smoothly since the gas shock absorber works firstly as a damper by the piston unit when the piston rod is operated, wherein the piston unit is installed on one side of the piston rod and moves together with the piston rod inside the cylinder; having no risk of being deflected or fallen even when the door is opened completely since air is controlled appropriately by the piston; facilitating the reciprocating motion since the piston rod moves without being biased to one side by the rod guide unit when the same is performing the reciprocating motion, wherein the rod guide unit is installed inside the cylinder and coupled to the piston rod; and enabling the smooth reciprocating motion as a second damper function is performed by an oil seal.
