PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch switch element which is hidden so as not to spoil the appearance design of devices and equipment when being not used and is visible when being used, and a touch switch device which controls the touch switch element to allow input of various switch conditions with gestures using human fingers or the like.SOLUTION: The touch switch element comprises at least a translucent design layer, a light emitting layer, and a touch sensor layer and a light diffusing pattern part which are laminated between the translucent design layer and the light emitting later. A pattern of the light diffusing pattern part is formed so as to be not visible from the operation side during extinction of the light emitting layer but be visible during emission of the light emitting layer. In the touch sensor layer, stripe-like first and second electrode parts intersect via dielectric parts in plan view of the touch sensor layer. The touch switch device comprises the touch switch element and a control unit. |
