A rope ladder includes rigid rungs 4, each rung connectÂed adjacent to the ends thereof to a respective one of a pair of ropes 1, each rung being in the form of a tube having an opposed pair of slots 6 formed in the wall thereof extending longitudinally from each end of the tube for receiving a respective one of the ropes therethrough. Stop means 5 are spaced apart along the ropes to support the rungs at the desired spacing. Closure means 7 are engageable with the ends of the rungs to secure the ropes in the slots. The closure may take the form of a plug or cap. |
