<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an human error, power instantaneous interruption due to an outlet box overcurrent after a computer apparatus operation, data loss with power instantaneous interruption of the computer apparatus connected to an outlet box, a failure of the computer apparatus, stop of a service provided by the computer apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This overcurrent prevention outlet box includes: a sensor for reading a rated current value of an apparatus by a wireless tag attached to a power cable of the apparatus; a comparison circuit for comparing the total of the rated current values read by the sensor with the rated current value of the outlet box; a power output circuit for receiving an output signal of the comparison circuit and for outputting power to a connector; and an alarm part operating by receiving an alarm signal of the comparison circuit. The comparison circuit turns off the output signal and turns on the alarm signal when the total of the rated current values of the apparatus exceeds the rated current value of the outlet box. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
