According to a first feature, the secondary side of a non-contact power transmitting device comprises a support member physically isolated from a primary side, a magnetic layer, a shield layer for shielding magnetic noise, and a heat-insulating layer. A secondary coil is a planar coil supported by the support member, and at least the magnetic layer is stacked on one side of the planar coil and integrated with the planar coil. According to a second feature, the secondary side of the device comprises a plurality of magnetic layers. The magnetic layers have respective permeability different from each other and each thereof forms a magnetic path with the primary side.
