PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound for an organic electroluminescent element with which a high luminous efficiency can be achieved when being used as a constituent material of an organic electroluminescent element, and an organic electroluminescent element in which the compound for an organic electroluminescent element is used.SOLUTION: When an anthracene compound with a specific substituent of the present invention is used as a constituent material of an organic electroluminescent element, an organic electroluminescent element with a high luminous efficiency can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
