摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust gas introduction quantity into intake air without being restricted by consistency in number of cylinders and length of a channel of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: In this intake mixture gas introducing apparatus, high pressure regions 31H-35H and low pressure regions 31L-34L are formed based on exhaust gas flow due to bending of an EGR pipe 30, and exhaust gas at inlets 21b-26b of gas introduction passages 21a-26a can be adjusted. Consequently, exhaust gas pressure at the inlets 21b-26b of the gas introduction passages 21a-26a can be suitably adjusted without being restricted by consistency in the number of cylinders and the length of the channel of the EGR pipe 30 to make deviation of pressures of exhaust gas introduced in each branch pipe 21-26 small or make the pressures of exhaust gas same. EGR rates in each cylinder, thereby get close or same each other, and stable internal combustion engine operation by stable combustion can be continued. Intake air pressure difference at the branch pipe 21-26 sides can be used for assist. Since the EGR pipe 30 is disposed to pass through spaces between branch pipes 21-26 with adhering to the same by meandering, sufficient quantity of exhaust gas can be introduced evenly to each cylinder with improving space efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
