1. A computer system comprising:
a first storage system including a first storage device and a first controller being configured to manage a first volume, whose storage area corresponds to a storage area of the first storage device, with a first internal volume identifier, and to provide the first volume with a given first virtual volume identifier to a server; and a second storage system including a second storage device and a second controller being configured to manage a second volume, whose storage area corresponds to a storage area of the second storage device, with a second internal volume identifier, and to provide the second volume with the given first virtual volume identifier to the server; wherein the first storage system and the second storage system are coupled to a third storage system including a third storage device and a third controller being configured to manage a third volume whose storage area corresponds to a storage area of the third storage device; wherein the first controller in the first storage system is configured to manage a first copy pair between the first volume and the third volume with a first internal copy identifier, and to provide a first copy pair with a given virtual copy pair identifier to the server; and wherein the second controller in the second storage system is configured to manage a second copy pair between the second volume and the third volume with a second internal copy identifier, and to provide a second copy pair with the given virtual copy pair identifier to the server. |
