Disclosed are a method for implementing traffic control, a server and a terminal. The method comprises: a server receiving user-consumed traffic which is sent by a terminal in a first cycle; when learning that the total user-consumed traffic exceeds a pre-set threshold value, the server calculating available traffic of each pre-set cycle according to remaining bill duration and remaining bill traffic; the server sending the available traffic of each pre-set cycle to the terminal; and the server interacting with the terminal, and performing traffic control on the terminal according to the available traffic of each pre-set cycle. The technical solution ensures that the consumption of user traffic does not exceed traffic of a user package, thereby preventing a terminal from excessively consuming traffic to cause overhigh expenses. |
