The embodiments of the present invention provide a content identification system and a content identification method. The content identification system comprises a touch device, configured to acquire, according to input operation on a content source carrying medium, data to obtain coordinate information corresponding to the input operation, the touch device having no display screen; a cloud storage device, configured to store cloud data, the cloud data comprising identification information about the touch device, content source identification information, and multimedia data corresponding to the content source identification information; and a content source processing module, configured to identify a content source on the content source carrying medium, acquire the coordinate information from the touch device, and perform, according to the coordinate information and the cloud data, processing operation of coordinate information matching. The embodiments of the present invention identify a content source, acquire processing operation matched with a content source from a cloud storage device, and perform corresponding process based on coordinate information. Therefore, a connection between a content identification system and a cloud storage device is realized, and a range of identifiable content sources is enlarged. |
