PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner supply roller which makes toner conveyance/scraping functions compatible by providing nearly V-shaped grooves in the peripheral surface of the toner supply roller, improves the discharging property of toner which enters the grooves in scraping, avoids various adverse effects due to jamming of the toner, and ensures little degradation. SOLUTION: A plasticized thermoplastic resin 30 is extruded and passed through a sizing sleeve 38 to form and solidify a tubular sheath 32 whose cross section shape is nearly sectorial, a fluidized thermosetting resin 34 is supplied and cured in the sheath 32 to obtain a sectorial body 14, after forming notches 18 in the peripheral surface, the tubular sheath 32 is stripped off, and while joining two open end faces of the sectorial body 14 and forming a tubular elastic body, the notches 18 are opened to form nearly V-shaped grooves.
