PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite particles for electrode with which an electrode capable of increasing the capacitance of an electrochemical capacitor can be formed, and to provide an electrode using the composite particles as a constituent material and an electrochemical capacitor provided with the electrode. SOLUTION: The composite particles for electrode comprise an electrode active material, an electric conduction auxiliary having electronic conductivity, and particles having oxidation-reduction capability. The composite particles also comprise a binding agent which can bind the electrode active material, the electric conduction auxiliary, and particles having the oxidation-reduction capability.
