PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the photoreceptor characteristics of a photoreceptor sheet from being deteriorated or the photoreceptor sheet for exchange from being stained due to the inflow of a liquid developer into a drum-shaped support of a wet electrophotographic apparatus for transferring the image formed on a latent image holder holding the photoreceptor sheet within the support to a recording medium. SOLUTION: The wet electrophotographic apparatus using the photosensitive sheet 1-2 to be taken up along the outer periphery of the drum-shaped support 1-1 from a supply roll 11 disposed within the drum-shaped support and to be taken up around a take-up roll 12 is provided with an opening/closing mechanism 14 which can prevent the deterioration of the characteristics of the photosensitive sheet due to the inflow of the liquid developer from a aperture 1-3 disposed at the drum-shaped support into the drum-shaped support.
