<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical diffusing film of which the full light transmission rate and the optical diffusing rate are increased by pores formed in the base material sheet, and which is useful as the back light unit for a thin-film transistor liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: This optical diffusing film 1 comprises the base material sheet 2 made of a synthetic resin, an optical diffusing layer 3 which overlies one surface of the base material sheet, and a blocking preventing layer 4 which is laminated on the other surface of the base material sheet. For the optical diffusing layer 3, pores are formed in such a manner that a composition containing optical diffusing particles coats the optical diffusing resin by adjusting the feeding pressure of the composition to be 1 to 5 kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>, and adjusting the running speed of the base material sheet to be 10 to 200 m/minute. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
