[PROBLEMS] A difference between reproducing time information and actually displayed time is prevented while operator waiting time until video image reproducing is shortened. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] An ES Buffer (50) sequentially stores an IDR-AU and a non IDR-AU, and, when a switching instruction signal is input, an H 264 decoder (60) successively initiates decoding the latest one of the IDR-AU as a starting point. In this way successive decoding is carried out. As the decoding develops, making-out reproducing time from a PTS of each AU gradually follows from a past time side to a present time side, and eventually at future time the decoder (60) starts displaying and returns to an ordinary sequence. |
