PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of properly imparting a radial load according to movement in axial direction of a movable column member relative to a main housing.SOLUTION: A steering device includes at least one securing member (hooking fitting 31) in which one end part is hooked on a side wall of a movable column member 20 and the other end part is supported for sliding by a bottom part 13 of a main housing 10, and an energizing member 40 which is interposed between the other end part of the securing member and the bottom part of the main housing, for energizing along the direction in which a distance between them is enlarged.
