PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a predetermined folding method regardless of the front and back surfaces of a recording medium when folding a manually fed recording medium.SOLUTION: A recording medium folding system comprises: a recording medium folding part 60 for performing different folding operations corresponding to the front and back surfaces of a recording medium; an image reading part 13 for reading a surface of the recording medium conveyed to the recording medium folding part 60; and folding execution means for making the recording medium folding part 60 perform folding operation corresponding to the front and back of the recording medium based on a reading result of the image reading part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
