The present invention relates to a Chinese phonetic transcription system using Hangul (Korean alphabet) and a method thereof. More specifically, the present invention provides a Chinese phonetic transcription system and a method thereof, wherein a basic principle to invent Hunminjeongeum (the official declaration of Hangul), which is created to write Chinese characters in accordance with pronunciation, is used to transcribe Chinese pronunciation with respect to Chinese characters by converting the Chinese characters based on Korean pronunciation. In particular, the accuracy of Chinese phonetic transcription based on Korean pronunciation of Chinese characters can be increased by applying an algorithm where an initial consonant of Korean pronunciation of a Chinese character or a Chinese word becomes a strongly aspirated consonant to be converted to Chinese pronunciation to be transcribed. |
