PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminance data storage processing method or the like, capable of reducing the time required for highlighting information based on luminance data of respective pixels on a circumference in a captured image.SOLUTION: A luminance data storage processing method is configured to store luminance data of respective pixels on a circumference in a captured image, in storage areas of physically aligned consecutive addresses in storage means. An image processing apparatus 3 includes: first luminance data storage means (frame memory 4) for storing luminance data of respective pixels in the captured image, in addresses corresponding to positions of the respective pixels in the captured image; second luminance data storage means (line memory 5); and address conversion means (a lookup table 6 and a processor 10) for storing the luminance data stored in the addresses in the first luminance data storage means, corresponding to the addresses of the respective pixels on the circumference of the captured image, in physically aligned consecutive addresses in the second luminance data storage means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
