PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system capable of effectively cooling a fuel battery.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system includes a fuel battery 11, a reformer 12, a reformed water supply unit 15, a fuel gas supply unit 14, an S/C adjustment unit 15B for adjusting S/C, a cathode gas supply unit 21 having a cathode gas temperature adjustment unit 22, and a temperature sensor 18 for measuring a temperature Tc of the fuel battery 11. When a normal cooling controllable condition is satisfied, a control unit 50 controls the cathode gas temperature adjustment unit 22 so as to adjust the temperature of a cathode gas A1 to a first temperature Ts1, and controls the S/C adjustment unit 15B to adjust the S/C on the basis of the temperature Tc of the fuel battery 11. The reformer 12 cools the fuel battery 11.
