PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel type game machine capable of preventing a ceiling from becoming a chance of acquisition of an excessive game value.SOLUTION: A reel type game machine includes: a plurality of rotating drums on which a plurality of patterns are displayed; start control means for starting rotation of the reels; winning lottery combination means for holding a winning lottery combination with satisfaction of predetermined conditions as an opportunity; count means for counting objects to be counted; and special game control means for executing a second special game when a counted number reaches a predetermined value, and executing a lottery of a first special game during a predetermined period immediately before reaching the predetermined value.
