PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a junction comprising a ceramics board and a metallic board, capable of forming a metallic circuit on the ceramics board with high positional accuracy without constraint of a circuit form, and manufacturing a circuit board without increasing the number of defective junctions. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method manufactures the junction by joining a metallic plate (1) with the ceramic board (2) while the groove is directed upward in a way that the groove comes inwardly from the edges of the ceramics board, the metallic board (1) having a groove (1a) circulating the vicinity of edges of the metallic plate continuously or discontinuously, and thereafter by removing a metal existing at a lower part (1b) and an outer edge part (1c) of the groove by means of etching. In this case, it is preferable that a half-bridge metallic board is adopted for the metallic board, the width of the outer edge of the groove is selected to be a multiple of 1/3 to 3/4 of the thickness of the metallic plate, and the depth of the half-bridge and the depth of the groove are both selected to be a multiple of 1/3 to 3/4 of the thickness of the metallic plate.
