A method for manufacturing solid fuel is provided to manufacture solid fuel which increases efficiency of the combustion as the solid fuel, obtains firmness, and emits fragrance to exhibit health promotion effects by the emitted fragrance. A method for manufacturing solid fuel comprises: a first step(S1) of injecting mugwort powder and rice straw pulverized to a length of less than 5 mm in a container in which water is stored, and steaming and boiling the mugwort powder and rice straw at a temperature condition of 70 to 90 deg.C for one hour to one hour and 30 minutes; a second step(S2) of adding a fine earth or loess powder having a size of 1.5 mm or less to a mixture of the rice straw, mugwort powder, and water passing through the first step, and stirring and mixing rice straw, mugwort powder, water, and fine earth or loess powder; and a third step(S3) of injecting a mixture passing through the second step into an extrusion molding machine, heating and extrusion molding the mixture into a molding, and drying the molding. |
