<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch-less variable displacement compressor capable of preventing abnormal return of a swash plate even if liquid compression occurs in the minimum displacement operation including sudden high speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: This clutch-less variable displacement compressor includes the swash plate which can be inclined to an axial direction of a rotary shaft and rotates as one unit with a rotary shaft 16, a crank chamber 15 storing the swash plate, a delivery pressure zone through which refrigerant delivered from a compression chamber passes, a suction pressure zone through which refrigerant sucked in the compression chamber 35 passes, a check valve 58 preventing reverse flow in the delivery pressure zone, an air supply passage providing communication between the delivery pressure zone and the crank chamber 15, a displacement control valve 40 disposed in a middle of the air supply passage and controlling pressure in the crank chamber 15, an air bleeding passage 43 providing communication between the suction pressure zone and the crank chamber 15. A solenoid controlled valve 59 is disposed in the delivery pressure zone between the check valve 58 and the compression chamber 35. The solenoid controlled valve 59 is closed when the displacement control valve 40 is not energized, and is opened when the displacement control valve 40 is energized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
