PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time for data processing, in a parallel data processing system.SOLUTION: A parallel data processing system has a parallel data processing executing section which executes processing by reading data from a data group including a first data group including a plurality of pieces of first data and a second data group including a plurality of pieces of second data. The parallel data processing executing section reads the first data from the first data group, and obtains a first value from the first data on the basis of first format information obtained from an application. On the basis of first reference information obtained from the application, one or more threads for reading one or more pieces of the second data corresponding to the first value from the second data group are generated. The processing is executed to one or more pieces of the first data of the first data group. The plurality of threads are executed in parallel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
