A process right configuration method and device, which relate to the technical field of information, and avoid the security threat, to an intelligent terminal used by a user, from a newly established child process that inherits the higher right of a parent process after the child process inherits the higher right of the parent process, thereby ensuring the security of the intelligent terminal. The method comprises: when a child process needs to be established, determining whether an application of which the right is lower than that of a parent process exists among currently operating application processes (101); if yes, acquiring the right of the application process (102); and in a process in which the parent process establishes the child process, configuring the right of the child process as the right of the application process (103). The present invention is applicable to configuration of the right of a process. |
