The present invention is about the structural design and synthesis of novel dendritic macromolecules that contain groups able to absorb ultraviolet light (pyrene) and transmit it to an acceptor molecule (porphyrin) acting as a core, i.e., these presenting transference of energy. Said macromolecules, called dendrimers, are synthesized following a multipurpose path. The purpose of the invention is to design dendrimers, which present transference of energy from the donator (pyrene) to the acceptor (porphyrin) with an efficiency higher than 99%. The selection of the chromophores was performed according to the optic characteristics thereof. Based on the spectral characteristics of the pyrene-porphyrin pairs and their spectral overlapping, the Förster radius of 51.4 nm was determined, this radius representing the donator-acceptor distance at which the energy transference is of 50%. Based on the aforementioned information, the synthesis of the dendron porphyrins, where the porphyrin is locat ed in the core and the pyrene groups in the periphery of the dendrimer, has been proposed. So that, the aforementioned dendronized porphyrins present a very efficient process of energy transference (with a yield close to 100%) from the excited states of pyrene and porphyrin. The aforementioned explanation occurs when the pyrene molecule is excited at 344nm. The present invention is also related to the materials used in the industry of the optoelectronic devices (electroluminescent organic diodes, metal chemical sensors, in the simultaneous detection of multiple analytes in a mixture and in field-effect transistors) and photovoltaic devices for converting luminous energy into electric energy, such as solar cells sensitized with dyes (Graetzel cells) and organic solar cells of hetero joints in mass. |
