PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical appliance so constituted that an AC adapter is detachable from the electrical appliance, and thus its heat radiation is enhanced in some cases, and its appearance and portability are made preferable in other cases. SOLUTION: The electrical appliance is provided with an AC adapter housing portion 5 in which an AC adapter 4 can be housed. Since the AC adapter housing portion 5 is integrally formed with the body of the electrical appliance, if the temperature of the AC adapter 4 rises and heat radiation is required, the AC adapter 4 can be removed from the AC adapter housing portion 5, to lower the temperature of the AC adapter 4 at once. When the electrical appliance is carried, the AC adapter 4 will not hinder carrying and the electrical appliance can be held firmly and carried. When the electrical appliance is not to be in use for a while, it can be stored in a compact manner and accumulated dust, if any, can be cleaned off with ease. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
