FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves spatially digitally scanning the central eye regions and orbit to receive sharp images of optic nerve disk and macula at the same time. The image is contrasted by applying color energy mapping and pulsating Doppler ultrasonography. Retina thickness and density, choroidea blood vessel thickness and angioarchitectonics, newly formed blood vessel appearance, sclera thickness and density are determined. Optic nerve disk condition, its size, spatial configuration, density, vascularization pattern, binds to eye tunics are analyzed. Quantitative values describing blood circulation in the optic nerve, in large eyeball and orbit blood vessels are determined. Pathologically transformed segment volume is calculated, its surface and internal structure is analyzed, spatial vascular network is studied. Densitometric indices of vasculogenicity and density are determined. The whole set of data received according to given ultrasonic examination algorithm are analyzed and pathological process nature and injury degree is adjusted. ^ EFFECT: high reliability of diagnosis. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
