SPINDLE MOTOR FOR HDD IMPROVED ON CONSTRUCTION OF SHAFT, SLEEVE AND BASE

A spindle motor for an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) with improved structures of a shaft, a sleeve, and a base is provided to prevent separation of components due to external impact by increasing an assembly area of a shaft and a hub to improve assembly durability. A spindle motor for an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) includes a shaft(30), a sleeve(50), and a stopper(40). The shaft has an extended outer diameter unit to be coupled with a hub and has a recessed coupling groove with a predetermined inner diameter at a center of a lower part. The sleeve has a protruded ring bar formed along an outer side of a top surface vertically coupled with the shaft to partially insert the extended outer diameter unit of the shaft. The stopper is inserted into a bottom of an inner diameter unit of the sleeve to be in contact with a bottom surface of the shaft and has a coupling protrusion corresponding to the coupling groove of the shaft to be coupled with the coupling groove of the shaft.
