PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control display or non-display with a camera accessory according to a photographing mode set in a camera, the type of the camera, and switching to a non-photographing mode of the camera.SOLUTION: A camera accessory 100 is removably attached to a camera 200 that can set a plurality of photographing modes. The camera accessory comprises display means 112 that electronically displays information, and display control means 110 that performs display control of controlling display or non-display of the display means. The display control means performs display control according to a photographing mode set in the camera, performs display control according to the type of the camera, and hides the display means in response to a reception of notification that the camera has been switched from a photographing mode to a non-photographing mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
