<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a guide plate positively as a part of a slider and to make a fastener tape always engage positively and appropriately in order to constitute a favorable fluid-resistant seal. <P>SOLUTION: A slider 20 for a fluid-resistant slide fastener has upper and lower wings 21, 22 joined by a guide post 23 and a guide plate 24 provided between the upper and lower wings and spaced being separated from the upper and the lower wings to cooperate with the upper and lower wings 21, 22 to guide coupling elements and sealing lips part 11 of the slide fastener. The upper wing is provided with upper side flanges 27 which extend from the rear end part of the upper wing to a position at least as far forward as the forward end part 23b of the guide post. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
