PURPOSE: A broad-band variable attenuator using meta-material is provided to allow the variation of internal resistance according to a voltage of diode by using a pin diode at a structure of a CRLH transmission line. CONSTITUTION: In a device, transmission lines(3,31) is respectively installed at an input-output transmission line and a low pass filter property. The LH transmission line(4) includes a PIN diode(D1,D2) and has a high pass filter property. A power supply unit of the input-output unit(5,51) supplies stable voltage to a PIN diode of an LH transmission line. The input-output capacitor(2C'L,2C"L) has a high pass property while being respectively serially connected to the input-output part. A G '- L' L parallel connection circuit is commonly connected to the cathode of the PIN diode.
