The arrangement (2) has a support unit (8) impregnated in an axial direction by a wiper shaft (3). A wiper arm (5) is fixed at an upper free end of the wiper shaft. A protection apron (21) is fixed at the support unit, and downwardly overlaps the support unit in the axial direction. The protection apron has a holding section (22) limiting a through-hole for the support unit. The apron is retained in a peripheral groove with the holding section, and functions as a screen. A spring disk (18) e.g. speed nut, for the support unit is fixed at a lower surface structure (20) of the wiper shaft.
