PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel improved in the performance of a semiconductor element and a method for manufacturing the display panel.SOLUTION: There is provided a display panel. The display panel includes a first substrate, a first insulation layer on the first substrate, a semiconductor layer on the first insulation layer, and a second insulation layer on the semiconductor layer and the first insulation layer. The second insulation layer has a surface in the vicinity of the first insulation layer. The second insulation layer has a first region. The first region has a depth of 40nm starting from the surface of the second insulation layer. The second insulation layer has a fluorine ion gain rate of 80% to 95%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
