Provided are a desktop display method and device. After a terminal is connected to an external device, a use is enabled to conveniently find an application associated with the external device, thereby simplifying the operation of the user, and saving the time of the user. The method comprises: parsing a device type of an external device connected to a terminal; and distinctly displaying an application associated with the device type of the external device on the desktop of the terminal. |
